Je zou eens kunnen kijken hoe het in jouw geval staat.I just purchased a WD Elements 2TB USB 2.0 drive and when I hooked it up I was having the same problem as everyone else seem to be having.
I solved my problem by resetting BIOS to AUTOMATICALLY detect USB devices -vs- DETECT USB devices.
The options in my American Megatrends (AMI)BIOS are set under USB Configuration.
In the Legacy USB support the options are: Disabled Enabled Auto
Default is enable where mine was at when I could not boot to windows
When changed to AUTO everything works fine.
